Summer is the season of picnics and barbeques. And before your next get together, stop by the BHA to learn a few new Texas inspired dishes to take along! Participants will learn to make each recipe and will have a chance to taste their completed project! Pre-registration is required for this camp.
July 30 – Dessert: Little Crackle Top Ginger Snaps
It wouldn’t be a cooking camp without some dessert! Taking a cue from “The 1st American Cookie Lady,” participants will make modern day Little Crackle Top Ginger Snaps to satisfy anyone’s sweet tooth! The book in which the recipe can be found is for sale in our gift shop.
The camp is $20.00 for non-members per camp day and $15.00 for members per camp day. Sign up for all 4 sessions and save $10.00! All camp sessions will be held at the Brownsville Heritage Complex. Space is limited. Reservations and payment are required to reserve a place in the camp.
