"The Texas Tropical Trail is charted through a vast area of coastal plains and fertile croplands, past sparkling Gulf waters and Spanish-style homes on palm-lined avenues. Along 726 miles the Trail bisects busy cities, then returns to a countryside filled with citrus groves, or spans immense, brushy ranchlands. Anywhere the land may be dotted with oil wells, pumping stations and refineries.
The Texas Tropical Trail takes on an international air as it skirts the Republic of Mexico and investigates the colorful heritage we share with that friendly neighbor...." |
