Museum Education: One Size Does Not Fit All Who’s coming through your doors? What message are you sharing about your site? How are you teaching this message to this audience? How do you know if the audience “got it?” Beginning with the basics of museum education, such as identifying different types of museum visitors and how they learn, this workshop will include strategies for teaching a broad range of visitors as well as program assessment and evaluation techniques. Ideal for docents, museum educators, and anyone who works directly with the public, this workshop format blends small group interaction, hands-on activities, and large group discussion. Claudia Ocello, President and CEO of Museum Partners Consulting, will lead the workshops. Claudia, a former classroom teacher, brings two decades of museum education experience to her instruction.
